Terms & Conditions

The rules for using this website and buying from L’ENVOÛTANTE.

1. About these terms

These terms explain how you can use this website and how buying from L’ENVOÛTANTE works. By using the website or placing an order, you agree to them. Please read them before you order.

The wines are imported by 9jaGlobal Wines Limited.

The business behind this website is [To confirm: registered company name, CAC registration number and registered address].

2. Who can use the website

You must be able to enter into a binding contract to place an order. Some products are only for adults (see section 3).

3. Age limits for wine and alcohol

Wine and other alcoholic products are only sold to people aged 18 or older. You must confirm your age at checkout. The 18+ screen when you enter the website is not proof of age. We may ask for ID at delivery or collection, and we may refuse to hand over alcohol if we cannot confirm your age. See our Alcohol Sales Policy.

4. Accounts

You can check out without an account. If you create one, keep your login details private. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us quickly if you think someone else has used it.

5. Products, photos and availability

We try to describe and show products accurately. Colours on screen may differ slightly from the real item. Some products are shown as "coming soon" or as concepts; these cannot be bought until they are marked available.

6. Prices, currency and taxes

Prices are shown in Nigerian Naira (₦) unless stated otherwise. [To confirm: whether prices include VAT and any other taxes.] We check every price again on our server when you check out. If a price shown was clearly wrong, we will contact you before we accept the order.

7. Payment through Flutterwave

Payments are handled by Flutterwave, our payment provider. We do not see or store your full card details. Your order is only marked as paid after we check the payment directly with Flutterwave.

8. Placing and accepting orders

When you check out, we hold the items for a short time while you pay. An order is accepted once the payment has been checked and confirmed. We may cancel an order before dispatch if an item is out of stock, a price was clearly wrong, payment cannot be confirmed, or legal age rules cannot be met. If we cancel a paid order, we refund you in full.

9. Stock

Stock is limited. If an item sells out while you are paying, we will tell you and refund any payment for that item.

10. Delivery and collection

Delivery options, areas and fees are shown at checkout and in our Shipping & Delivery Policy. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees.

11. Event orders

Some events may offer delivery to the venue or collection. These are only available when shown for that event, and may have an order cut-off time.

12. Returns, cancellations and refunds

See our Returns, Cancellations & Refunds Policy. Nothing in these terms takes away your rights under Nigerian consumer protection law, including the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018.

13. Gifts and personalised items

Gift messages are printed as you type them, so please check spelling. Personalised items are made for you; see the Returns policy for how this affects returns.

14. Bulk, corporate and event orders

Bulk and corporate orders start as an enquiry. We send you a written quote. The quote, and any terms in it, apply to that order. No payment is taken until you accept a quote.

15. Artist collaborations

Some products feature artwork made with or licensed from artists. Artists keep their rights in their artwork unless agreed otherwise in writing. Buying a product does not give you the right to copy the artwork. See our Intellectual Property Policy.

16. Our content, logos and trademarks

The L’ENVOÛTANTE name, wax-seal emblem, wordmark, photos, designs and text on this website belong to us or to the people who licensed them to us. You may not copy or use them for business purposes without our written permission.

17. Fair use of the website

Please do not misuse the website. This includes trying to break its security, using bots to buy stock, placing false orders, or uploading harmful content.

18. Other services and links

We use other companies to run parts of the service (for example Flutterwave for payments). Links to other websites are for your convenience; we are not responsible for their content.

19. Our responsibility to you

We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We do not exclude any responsibility that the law does not allow us to exclude.

20. Complaints and disputes

Please contact us first so we can try to fix the problem (see Contact & Complaints). If we cannot agree, you may contact the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission. These terms are governed by the laws of [To confirm: Lagos State / Federal Republic of Nigeria].
